Brief Reflection

I have done research projects in the past but despite finding them interesting at the start, they later turned out to be quite of a workload and a burden as finding information is easy but presenting them in a readable format is the tougher part. Of the readings we have read so far, I found "How to Tame a Wild Tongue" by Gloria Anzaldúa to have stuck out the most as she talks about how language is connected with one's identity and that another person invalidating one's language is like attacking their identity. I agree with her about how one should be able to express oneself and should not be held back despite not being accepted in neither the community that you have originated from or live in.

The process of creating the Vision board was pretty fun as it helped me reflect on what I wanted to do this year and even gave me ideas of new things I wanted to try after I saw the vision boards of my peers. It helped me set my goals clear so that I would be able to follow them this year.

As regard to questions about the course, I don't have any major questions but I wanted to ask if we would have more class time to work on our assignments like we had in ENC1101.
